who cares that it makes showers?

my interests seem to lie in making things pale these days, i'm not feeling inspired by colour lately. It's like my guitar practice. Some days i can play away for ages, other days i could throw it out the window! I dunno how these music people do it, its a gift i suppose. Have you got any old furniture that you don't want? I'm not talking about old settee's or radiograms, but wooden chairs and tables. I'm currently hooked on recycling old stuff, while trying to perfect or discover my joinery skills. Some tools would be good i suppose, so i think i'll have to start to invest before i get too optomysterious. Yeah, thats right, i'm inventing my own words now...

Why have i suddenly got a fetish for ballerinas? Its not one of those 'unhealthy' fetishes, don't worry! No, its just become apparent to me over the new year. Firstly, i blame the ballerina tv show broadcast on the BBC, over the christmas (incarceration) period i went through. It was a really nice drama thing, but obviously, very christmassy with the typical happy ending. That's sign 1, the 2nd is a tune i've been listening to over the last couple of months, 'Ballerina' by the best band in the world, GMPD is the name and all their songs are inspired brilliance. So that is now contributing to the evidence my rickety head is struggling to cope with. Sign 3...is there a sign 3? Yes, i just got it, its a myspace site. The site is full of wonderful photography of broken dolls, and other things, some of which resemble ballerina's, i knew it was something else. P.S. I can't believe i've written a post containing the word Ballerina 4 times! guess who? Its easy!

The thing with these portraits is that they all seem to be different in style. It just depends on the day, and if i'm feeling adventurous or not! Everything is an experiment as i always say, and some days i like to take the extreme option. It adds a bit of excitement to the dullness i like to think. I don't want to give titles to these drawings or tell people who they are modelled on, i'm going to let folks have a wild guess...thats what usually happens. I'm cold, but not feeling the cold if you know what i mean, have to check if the snow is back. Its been ok so far, its just that ruddy ice on the pavement that brings me down, literally! Ok, am going back to the drawings, until i fall asleep. I think i know what'll happen first. ZZZZzz
